Medicines Optimisation supports safe and effective use of medicines, to improve the outcomes for patients, reducing unnecessary prescribing and waste, and to encourage sustainable practice, alongside providing clinically relevant guidance for patients and health care professionals.

Please visit the Lancashire and South Cumbria (LSC) ICB formulary, a local NHS resource that sets out which medicines should be used across the area and how they should be prescribed.
